Cloud Chamber are specialists in evaluation, research development, training, and impact. Established in 2012, we have grown our work with the Higher Education and charitable sectors, supporting them to evaluate their services, secure funding, make strategic change and understand their impact.
Cloud Chamber are evaluation specialists. We help universities and funders understand the impact of research grants and programmes.
We work across the whole of HE, both in the UK and globally, where we have supported training and evaluation of research funding programmes in China, Europe and across Africa. This work has seen us work alongside Kings College London and East China Normal University as well as significant funders including the Royal Society, ESRC, The British Academy, Royal Academy of Engineering, MacMillan Cancer Support and DFID.
We work closely with partners through training and evaluations to support equality, diversity, and inclusion in research partnerships with a focus on international research partnerships. We also help funders understand the EDI implications of their research, both for grant holders and research beneficiaries.
Specialising in the social sciences, arts, and humanities, we work with universities, departments, and individual academics to support the development of research infrastructure, culture and secure funding.
