Dr Michelle Morgan is recognised nationally and internationally as a leader and expert in UG and PGT learning and teaching, access, widening participation and retention strategies, and initiatives and processes in further and higher education. She has a reputation for improving key institutional metrics through strategic and evidence-based initiatives.
Michelle has an extensive toolkit of resources to support students and staff across courses with different entry points. She is a strategic leader who effectively designs and implements strategy and policy through engaging colleagues. Michelle is a highly regarded professional and scholar with national and international academic credibility and standing having delivered over 40 national and international keynotes and 38 invited papers. She is well published in the field.
During her career, she has been a senior faculty administrative manager, researcher and academic, and academic manager. Her various roles have given her a good insight into academic and support practices.
Michelle is an Elected Executive Council member for UK Council for Graduate Education, CATE AdvanceHE Judge and Guardian Newspaper Higher Education Awards Judge 2019 and 2020. She is a Fellow of the AUA and Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
