The Leigh Partnership is a consultancy passionate about ‘putting data to work’. It specialises in data strategy, data governance, data architecture and data ethics. We have worked with over fifty UK and international universities and most of the national sector bodies.
We offer our services as both fixed price and bespoke engagements. While we bring over twenty years experience in best practice approaches, we understand and cherish that every customer is different and will need a customised experience.
Our services focus on aligning the ‘data asset’ with the objectives of the university. We strongly believe this is the starting point to begin the needed and necessary professionalism of the way data is collected, used and transformed in support of a data-driven culture. While we are advocates of technology to democratise the use of data, we always start with culture.
We have been involved and led many sector wide initiatives include the HEDIIP Data Capability framework, the HESA Data Futures programme and – more recently – the Higher Education Data Governance Network.
We believe in honest, transparent and collaborative ways of working. It is these values which dovetail with those of the Higher Education sector. As such we are always delighted to provide templates, reference material and useful contacts to anyone who shares our passion for putting data to work.
