Richard Armour has substantial experience of higher education leadership in Hong Kong, UK and Australia. He most recently stepped down as Secretary-General (CEO) of Hong Kong’s higher education funding council (UGC). Immediately prior to that he was Senior Advisor to the President and Chief of Staff of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. And before that he held senior roles in institutions in UK, HK and Australia
As well as consulting, Richard serves (or has served previously) on various university, funding council and research bodies in UK and overseas, several as a non-executive director.
Through Armour & Associates Ltd he is now available for advisory or consultancy assignments in UK, Hong Kong and internationally across a broad range of project areas where they do not conflict with his public responsibilities. He is comfortable with a broad range of assignment tasks and very willing to collaborate.
