He has broad cross-sector experience having worked with Oil Majors, Retailers, Traders, Brokers, Insurers, a 3rd party Pension Fund Administrator, a University and a Global Travel Group to establish and entrench Risk Frameworks. He’s equally comfortable, working alongside Boards as he is rolling up his sleeves in a regional branch office , in whatever capacity to help the team achieve its aims.
Before coming to Risk Management he had careers as a Commodities Trader, Broker, Corporate Financier, Marketer, Financial Controller & Internal Auditor, so that now as an experienced Enterprise Risk Executive he speaks to his clients in their own language, cutting through jargon and injecting Risk with a practicality, immediately adding value to the enterprise.
It is this breath of functional and sector knowledge and experience that he brings to each assignment.
He is an expert in establishing tailored ERM Frameworks, rebooting existing frameworks, delivering risk training programs, onboarding and embedding risk management software systems.
He’s a highly educated and adaptable individual with a pragmatic streak of common sense that thrives in challenging environments.
