Building relationships with universities:

Stewart’s experience provides those wishing to work with universities with insights into the sector and expertise in the needs, constraints and priorities of universities. Typical clients include:

  • FE Colleges or private providers seeking to partner on higher education awards, such as PSRB accreditation, growth plans, progression routes, quality assurance, registration requirements, degree awarding powers
  • Industry bodies or businesses seeking university partners for staff recruitment, training and education, including degree apprenticeship development, or for R&D purposes
  • Organisations with missions in inclusion and diversity that wish to engage with students, influence programmes of learning or develop staff capabilities
  • Providers of international foundation and preparation courses seeking university partnerships

Enhancing the provision in universities:

Stewart’s experience allows him to support universities and other HEIs with a need to extend their capability and capacity for matters such as:

  • Interim leadership of Faculties, Schools or Departments
  • Quality Assurance review events in the UK or abroad, or with PSRBs
  • Scoping of requirements (quality, resources, etc.) for international provision in country
  • Staff development ahead of reviews or in support of enhancing learning and teaching or developing inclusive curriculum and practice

Stewart Eyres was Deputy Dean of Computing, Engineering & Science from the 3rd July 2017 to the 31st August 2022, with roles as Dean of Learning & Teaching and Interim Dean of Faculty between 2019 and 2021.
