EDI and Leadership Consultancy

Eyres Inclusion Consulting mission is to improve lives through inclusion. We believe that inclusive cultures and approaches make organisations more effective in providing solutions and services to everyone. Inclusive organisations recruit and retain a more diverse body of staff, and are better able to provide for a diversity of client needs. Inclusive cultures enable belonging, value difference and encourage respectful, honest sharing.

Inclusion is core to the mission of universities, for both education and research. Factors such as student wellbeing, the Research Excellence Framework, funder expectations, and course accreditation requirements make inclusion essential in connecting with increasingly diverse student communities, winning research funding, delivering impact or supporting students and staff throughout their careers. Stewart Eyres was Deputy Dean of Computing, Engineering & Science from the 3rd July 2017 to the 31st August 2022, with roles as Dean of Learning & Teaching and Interim Dean of Faculty between 2019 and 2021. He has since filled interim leadership roles in universities and developed EDI across industry and higher education while working with EqualEngineers and as an independent consultant. Stewart exemplifies values of collaboration, inclusion and professionalism. He approaches his work with an appropriate sense of humour and sensitivity to the needs of others.
