Vincenzo (Enzo) Raimo has more than 20-years’ experience in international higher education in roles at the University of Nottingham (international director) and the University of Reading (pro vice-chancellor for global engagement). He has particular expertise in transnational education (TNE) through his involvement in Nottingham’s and Reading’s overseas campuses and also through hands-on experience of developing and working on a broad range of TNE partnership models including twinning, articulation, short programmes and fly-in delivery, with both state/public and private partners.

He is also an expert on the use of agents in international student recruitment and has written and talked extensively about the role of agents and managing risk in international student recruitment.

He is a member of the ECCTIS (previously NARIC) TNE Quality Benchmark Advisory Board, a former member of the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) Council and a former Chair of the UCAS International Advisory Group.

After more than 2-years of combining a leadership position at Unilodgers, the world’s largest student housing market place, with academic related and advisory roles in the UK and China (Visiting Fellow at the University of Reading, honorary professor of global higher education at the Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology) Enzo became an independent consultant mostly supporting investors in international education and universities and related organisations interested in global education, TNE and international student recruitment and mobility.
