Educational Consultant specialising in Neurodiversity and Neuroaffirming Practice.
SFHEA | EMCC Accredited Coach | PgCert Academic Practice | MA Performance Making | MA Academic Practice.
Higher education is increasingly recognising the needs of neurodivergent staff and students – but specialist expertise to support change in this space remains rare.
Hannah offers consultancy, coaching and organisational development grounded in over 15 years of HE experience across teaching, research, leadership and educational development roles within academic and professional services contexts. Previously Hannah was a practicing artist for over 15 years, specialising in video, performance and installation.
She combines this professional experience with an EMCC accredited L5 coaching qualification and her own lived experience as a multiply neurodivergent person to offer consultancy support in relation to neurodiversity.
Hannah has worked with specialist and arts HEIs and is a freelance trainer with the Graduate Futures Institute. She chairs the Coaching in Higher Education Network group specialising in neuroaffirming coaching, and brings the same commitment to accessible, evidence-informed practice to all her consultancy work.
Her offer spans three areas:
- Individual Support
Specialist coaching for neurodivergent staff navigating challenges in their roles, and for managers and leaders seeking to better support neurodivergent team members.
- Team Support
Workshops for teaching staff on creating neuroaffirming learning environments, and staff-facing development sessions around understanding and supporting neurodivergent colleagues.
- Organisational Support
Audits of existing policies, processes and practices – including Reasonable Adjustments processes – to review accessibility and relevance for neurodivergent staff. Advisory support to ensure language, participation and outputs are neuroaffirming and accessible.
She is also available to speak at institutional events including Disability History Month, Neurodiversity Celebration Week and World Autism Acceptance Month.
Hannah works with institutions of all sizes on a project, advisory or ongoing basis, remotely and when possible, in-person.
